A few weekends ago April and Jesse were at my orchard with their munchkins for our ‘Apple Blossom Days’. A wonderful Matilda Jane Representative was there along with Karmen Linder of Karmen Linder Photography. During Karmen’s lunch break we quick through the five girls into some Matilda Jane clothes and this is one of the shots she snapped! Just thought I’d share with you some cute cousins all together at the orchard.

Fall in Love with Handmade Urban Craft Fair
Hi family! I hope you all had a nice January and are enjoying February so far. I just wanted to share with you all that I'll be vending at the 'Fall in Love with Handmade Urban Craft Fair' in Oshkosh tomorrow. I'm pretty sure most of you know that as part of my 'job' I create things to sell at various shows and online. Well - this is the closest I've come to most of you all and thought if you were looking for something to do you might want to stop down and check it out.
Here's a sort of blurry phone picture of what my booth display looked like at the show I was in last weekend - It wil be pretty similar to this tomorrow. Things got a bit crowded in my schedule this week so I haven't had much time to create too many new things. Luckily I have quite the inventory already :)
Anyway - I hope to see some of you at
the Fall in Love with Handmade Urban Craft Fair tomorrow!

Announcement from David and Kerry
The kitchen of 810 Grant Street has always held a special
place in my heart. One of the recent
happy memories in that kitchen happened in March 2011. My mom was set to provide dinner that night
at Grandma’s—she planned Papa Murphy’s pizza, but we also brought along some
bottles of bubbly (sparkling juice that is) for a special announcement. The
smile on her face when we told Grandma she would see another great-grand baby
in 6 more months will never be forgot.
Grandma was the first outside the immediate family to know about Kerry’s
pregnancy.

AJ (or OJ as Grandma liked to sometimes call him) was born
and had the pleasure of being held by Great-Grandma many times. Sometimes, she wouldn’t even let him go. J
That night at Grandma’s prompted another dinner. This time, though, it was with my
parents. The dinner was last month in
the beginning of December. Under the
disguise of celebrating “quitting from MTM,” I told my parents Kerry and I wanted to bring
up Papa Murphy’s pizza to celebrate. We
also brought up pictures of AJ – most of them were ones we took for our
Christmas cards – however, when my Dad got to the back of the stack, he found
this one:
Then this one:
Needless to say, the traditional pizza dinner carried on
even if it was not at 810 Grant Street.
Well – as Kerry leaves the first trimester – we pondered how
we wanted to let people know. I then
thought of this blog Kim started and thought it was only fitting that the
kitchen of 810 Grant Street be the first (outside the immediate family) to find
out about the newest great-grand baby in the Landwehr clan! Kerry’s due date is July 20th.
Combine this great news with putting our house on the
market, moving to a new city and starting a new
job … I know there is a candle burning above for us!

Welcome to 810 Grant Street
Hi everyone! Welcome to '810 Grant Street'. Amie and I decided we should start this blog so we can keep in touch now that we no longer have the 'family center' of Grandma at 810 Grant Street to keep us informed.
Everyone is welcome to post news, pictures, recipes, etc on this blog so we can all stay in touch!
In a few weeks we'll have hard copies 'Memories of Grandma's Kitchen' Cookbooks for you all. I'm sure once you see it, you'll think of other recipes you may have forgotten about. Here's the place we can post them and keep us all as in touch as possible! I hope this works out and you all enjoy reading abot the family!
If you're a member of the Landwehr family please email me (lapaceksorchard at gmail dot com) so I can grant you permission to post to this blog. Also - if you have blogs, websites, facebook pages, etc, please send me the links so I can add it to the sidebar for easy access!
